For a Worcestershire Wedding Videographer, The Elms Hotel is a joy! It is a beautifully, magical venue set deep in the Worcestershire country side. The building is stunning at this time of year with deep red ivy creeping and covering vast parts of the Manor House. It is a stunning back drop for any wedding and makes any natural wedding videographer excited!
Lucia and Rob said their vows to each other in one of the many elegant rooms that the Elms Hotel has to offer. Then afterwards they enjoyed champagne and canapes in the gardens and sitting rooms. Being able to move freely from indoors to outdoors and around the grounds of the venue seamlessly really gave this wedding day a perfectly relaxed feel. My style as a natural wedding videographer is to sit back and watch people having fun and enjoying themselves. Then capture these moments as they happen with minimal interference. I was able to do this perfectly at this amazing venue as the layout was very un-restrictive and the wedding party were very happy and relaxed.
The kids all had such fun running in and out of the manor house, through the magical, mystical gardens and swinging on the rope swing. Even Rob couldn’t resist having a turn on the rope swing! I am always on the look out for fun moments to capture and this couple gave me just that! I also like to document all the details that you have spent time preparing so you can remember them in your bespoke wedding videos. Being an alternative quirky wedding videographer it is great for me to have a couples who see the potential in this and have an eye for details.
The speeches went well and were full of emotion. Which as a Worcestershire wedding cinematographer this is what I like as it takes my viewers into that moment and stirs feelings of joy and happiness in a creative way.
The first dance was amazing and Rob & Lucia twirled and danced around in-front of a big lite up ‘LOVE’ sign and a crowd of their friends. Rob even gave Lucia a quick spin around to finish off which I think confused and disorientated Lucia very slightly for a moment as she approached Steve, Robs identical twin to carry on the smooch!! lol I have to say though as far as identical twins go these two couldn’t get much more alike! Steve was called Rob by almost everyone on the day and the only way I could tell them apart was Rob had a bow tie and Steve and a normal tie on. Ha ha
I like to offer various options for the couple to choose from like aerial videography or an extra camera operator to capture more moments. It really depends on the couples requirements and budget. I believe Rob & Lucia liked this about the service I provide.
Overall this wedding day really suited my style of creating natural, fun and contemporary wedding videos. Everything from the natural light coming in from the big windows to the elegantly decorated sitting rooms and through to the open plan feel to the venue and of course the amazing magical gardens. It really is a stunning venue and for anybody planning a Weddings in Worcestershire i highly recommend it. I would certainly LOVE to work there again as your personal wedding videographer!
I would just like to take this chance to mention Tammie from Tammie Louise Photography. She was Lucia & Rob’s chosen official photographer. Working with her was great fun, she is so relaxed and approachable and we both talked to each other a lot so as to not get in each others way which really helps. Tammie and I actually went to school together and are great friends. I love working with her and did so in this wedding film here.
I wish Rob, Lucia and their three beautiful girls a life time full of happiness and I am very thankful to them for choosing me to document their special day.
