As a natural wedding videographer I thoroughly enjoyed Rachel and Darren’s wedding day at Nailcote Hall in the West Midlands. The venue is set on a Golf club so perfect location for a romantic day in the sun!
I started the day at the St Giles church in Sheldon with a nervous Darren mingling with all his guests. Rachel arrived spot on time in a gorgeous white wedding car with her six bridesmaids!
The ceremony went very well and Rachel and Darren were full of emotion as they had waited quite a number of years to get married. The church was lovely and full of character with lots of natural light streaming in from the stained glass windows.
As a documentary style wedding videographer I tried to be as unobtrusive as I could, I didn’t want to keep moving around too much to distract the happy couple.
After the ceremony Rachel and Darren too their guests over to Nailcote Hall in the West Midlands for their wedding reception. The couple and their guests enjoyed a glass of bubbly and some canapes on the lawn at the venue as the sun shined. I love working as a natural wedding videographer, it really is the best way to catch people as they are enjoying themselves naturally.
I stayed to film the speeches for Rachel & Darren and then I left them to dance the night away. The speeches were full of emotion and funny jokes from Darrens best man. The best man even got Darren dressed up in a pink dress!! The guests loved this and lots of laughter was around.
As a Wedding film-maker, I try to accommodate all requests and budgets. If a bride and groom are looking for a reasonably priced wedding video then I can certainly accommodate them by for example just doing half a day which is what suited Rachel & Darren and it works well.
I would like to wish Rachel and Darren every happiness for their new future together as Mr & Mrs, I know they have a lot of happy times ahead of them. It was a pleasure to be part of this special day and I thank them for letting me document it for them.
