Kerry & Dan tied the knot at All Saints Church in Malvern on a gorgeous day in June and then had their wedding reception at the Tithe Barn in Bishops Cleeve which is just on the edge of Gloucestershire.
It was a beautiful setting for a Gloucestershire wedding videographer and even though they had a little bit of rain the day was ideal!
I joined a relaxed Kerry getting ready at her house whilst my husband and second wedding videographer met up with Dan his best man and a group of their mates at a house just around the corner. The guys were all in fun spirits having a laugh and busy trying to get all their ties done up correctly and I do believe YouTube needed to be consulted! Dan spent some time giving out some gifts as a way to thank his close group of friends for their support during the wedding preparations. Meanwhile, Kerry was busy having her hair and make-up done and quite happy for me to film the action in the background, almost like a fly on the wall to capture the moments naturally. This, as a Gloucestershire alternative wedding videographer is the best way of working for me.
Dan was visibly blown away as he watched his beautiful bride walking down the aisle towards him in an amazing lace dress. She certainly looked very elegant! The ceremony was filled with emotions and happy tears and some lovely hymns which Kerry & Dan selected.
Once the vows had been exchanged in the stunning church in Malvern, Worcestershire the newly married couple signed the register with their witnesses.
There was a little bit of rain after the ceremony but this soon cleared up and in no way did it stop the bride and groom and all their guests having a fantastic time. Weather in the UK is always changeable even in June! As a professional UK wedding videographer I am always prepared and can adapt to the situations as they arise. If hot sunny weather is super important to you then you may wish to consider a destination wedding in warmer climates like France or Italy which are both very popular destination wedding locations. I would of course be able to film in these conditions too as I lived and worked in Cyprus for many years so quite used to the heat. Please do contact me if you are in search for a fun, relaxed destination wedding videographer and we can chat about your plans.
The wedding reception was held at the Tithe Barn in Bishop’s Cleeve in Gloucestershire. It was so relaxed and really suited my approach as a documentary wedding videographer. I like to let the couple enjoy themselves and try not to make them feel pressured in any way to do lots of poses or leave their party for any length of time. I am happy to work along side them in any way I can. Always looking for the best moments, guests having fun as lets face it that’s what a wedding is all about!
I managed to get lots of footage of them having fun during their reception and the drinks were flowing! After a few shots of tequila were done and dusted we left them to continue having a great time with all their family and friends and dance the night away. Kerry, Dan and their two children were such a lovely family, really down to earth kind people. I wish them loads of happiness in their new married life together and I hope the films that I have edited for them give them lot of enjoyment in the years to come.
