I was lucky enough last year to be Peter & Sarah’s Mill Barns wedding videographer on their special day. It was a crisp autumn day and the sky was clear and blue.
Take a look at their beautiful wedding day in the stunning Shropshire countryside
I started the day with Sarah at the family home. The bridal preparations went well and Sarah looked stunning in her dress!
Peter was nervously waiting in the local village church which was only a stone’s throw away from Sarah’s house. As peter completed some last-minute decorations his ushers and best men were busy showing all the guests to their seats.
Everyone eagerly awaited the arrival of the bride and her proud father!
The ceremony went smoothly and then it was onto confetti and celebrations!
We had confetti outside the church and then a small handful of family photographs but everyone was excited to get onto the Mill Barns to continue the celebrations and enjoy some food!
Being a Mill Barns wedding videographer is a privilege as the venue is quite new and has so many lovely features. I love the large balcony overlooking the mill pond and the amazing gardens.
Inside is stunning too, light and airy rooms framed with the huge oak beams make for a spectacular back drop for a West Midlands wedding videographer!
I had lots of choice for the couple shoot with the newlyweds. However, I never want to take up too much of the couples time on the wedding day. As a natural wedding videographer I am always conscious that the couple want relaxed shots of them enjoying themselves with their guests and not to pose for hours on end!
But we did take a little walk in the garden and the weather was so lovely so we got some stunning shots!
I also took them out for 10 minutes at sunset too. The mill Barns in the west midlands has some great festoon lighting up all around the edge of the venue and garden so even as its starting to go dark the beautiful barn venue looks stunning! It really is a special place for a west midlands videographer to work at!
The speeches and wedding breakfast went as planned and there was lots of laughter as the best man did his best to embarrass poor Peter!
The main room is perfect for the evening entertainment and the first dance. Framed with the stunning oak beams and high ceiling it is no wonder why this venue is so popular!
I left the couple to party the night away. I was able to capture lots of dancing action so had plenty of awesome footage to work with when it came to the editing.
If anyone is looking for a fun wedding video or for a Mill Barns wedding videographer then please do get in touch as i’d love to hear from you.
I hope Sarah and Peter enjoy their new married life together and that this film gives brings back lots of happy memories and is something that they can share with all their family in the years to come.
