The summer has been extremely busy here at Polka Dot Productions, so my ability to blog has been difficult. However, In June this year Helen & Alex said their vows at the beautiful Curradine Barns in Shrawley and I really wanted to show this film off! As a Worcestershire wedding videographer, I have filmed there a few times now and I have to say I absolutely LOVE it! Personally, i adore the atmospheric, rustic cosy vibe of the place. I love the court yard where all the guests gather for the drinks reception and I particularly enjoy the layout of the wedding breakfast room for filming in. Take a look at this wedding video of a Worcestershire wedding videographer at Curradine Barns and you’ll see – don’t just take my word for it!
You can see from my natural wedding video here that they had so much fun on this day at Curradine Barns in Shrawley. I particularly loved the Ceilidh dancing session that the couple had after their first dance! Their venue really suits a barn dance for obvious reasons and the whole wedding party had such a great time. It was a fantastic way to get all ages up, dancing and having fun! As a Worcestershire wedding videographer I am all about capturing the fun moments of the day so this was perfect for me!
I also am fond of the bridal preparation room at Curradine Barns. It is large, nicely decorated and has a nice big window to let plenty of natural light in for those perfect wedding videographer moments. I like to work in a very relaxed unobtrusive way on the actual wedding day. I don’t like to make either yourselves as the wedding couple or your guests feel nervous in front of the camera. So quite often i can be found in the background or behind the plants trying to get that ‘fly on the wall’ style of shot that is my preferred way of working. I could be described as a documentary wedding videographer, capturing the moments and action as it unfolds and not constructing forced or fake moments. I think this way of working is very nice on the day as it allows you as a couple to get on with enjoying yourselves and catch up with family and friends that you may not haven seen in a while.
Right, well I must get back to my editing and remain focused on getting my lovely couples creative wedding films out to them in good time. I just had to get this example on my website as I feel its a fantastic example of beautiful barn wedding by myself, a natural wedding videographer. My style of filming goes hand in hand with barn wedding venues like Curradine so if you are planning a rustic barn wedding please get in touch as I am now taking booking for 2019!
