Lucy and Dean got married in a church in Solihull, West Midlands and then had their wedding breakfast and celebrations at Hogarth’s in Solihull.
The couple decided to have me start at the church filming the guests arriving. I do usually recommend me starting with the bridal preparations so I can tell the story of the day in full afterwards but and I am happy to try to accommodate all couples needs and budgets so this is exactly what I did and it worked out well. It was a lovely ceremony and the vicar said some heart warming words which I was able to use in my carefully crafted wedding film
The drinks reception went well on the beautiful grounds of the venue and the couple had a magician which kept the wedding party entertained and livened things up! Its a fab idea to have entertainers like these at your special day it really adds to the atmosphere of the day and makes it one to remember. And as for the wedding video it makes for great viewing afterwards too!
Always lovely to work along side my wedding photographer husband Duncan Cox. We have similar natural relaxed styles and also are very used to each other so hardly ever get in each others ways! Or try not to anyway! ha ha We took the couple onto the venues ‘Kissing bridge’ which is a popular feature at this West Midlands wedding venue. We got some lovely footage of them on the front tree lined drive too!
The party got under way in full swing after a lovely first dance from the couple. We stayed to capture the action for a short while before packing up our kit and leaving the guests to carry on. Lucy & Dean looked so happy the whole day through with all their families and friends around them. I hope the have many many happy years ahead of them with their children and I hope that the wedding videos i have created bring back the memories of this special day time and time again!
